POM Workshop: Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Handstand)

In July, Flex teacher Huong Huynh will give you an in-depth introduction to our current POM, Adho Mukha Vrksasana - the Handstand!

Get yourself ready for a well-balanced posture! Adho Mukha Vrksasana is an inversion and arm balance, and one of those landmark postures in any yogi’s personal journey of advancing in their practice.

In Sanskrit, Adho Mukha Vrksasana means 'Downward Facing Tree' (from adho: downward, mukha: face, vrksa: tree and asana: posture)

During this 2-hour workshop with Huong Huynh, you will learn the tools and techniques that help you build the strength, balance and confidence needed to perform this challenging posture. Huong will then lead you safely into, and out of, Adho Mukha Vrksasana, and teach you how to get there on your own.
