In this 2-hour workshop, Dave will teach you about all elements needed to safely hold yourself upside-down, covering handstand principles & drills to get you to fly and enjoy the process.
Handstand is an enlivening, courageous, fulfilling posture - invigorating and exciting in the moment when it all comes together.
Dave will break down the whole process from fingertips to toes and show you how it all fits together. You will learn multiple ways to safely enter and come out of a handstand, experience drills for progressing and stabilising and proper body position. Dave will also discuss barriers to getting off the wall, help you understand your fears and - for the more experienced participants - provide advanced leg positions in handstands.
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner, this workshop will build confidence in your inversion practice. We will be working with partners to support each others’ learning, so this is the perfect opportunity to bring a partner or friend.
