Posture of the month: Handstand


We’ve kicked into 2019 with the most desirable and elusive Handstand as our #poseofthemonth for January.

We led up to this with Headstand in November, Forearm Balance in December and we felt to begin the new year on both hands with Adho Mukha Vriksasana.

Handstand is a yoga posture that many feel is out of reach – yet will a daily practice, discipline and happy perseverance, it’s achievable!

Harnessing the youth of balancing against the wall while filling your hands with the floor is enriching, gets the blood pumping and turns even the most determined frown upside down.

So come daily or as often as you can for the remainder of January to practice handstand in every class!
